PRO TIP OF THE MONTH - John Gompert

When you're playing doubles, keep this general rule in mind: hit low balls to the player farthest from you and high balls at the player closest to you!

Seasonal Court Time

The indoor seasonal court-time letter/contract form has been mailed and indoor season is just around the corner. The indoor court time starts Monday, September 27, but the priority deadline for last year's court users is Sunday, September 12. We are receiving a large number of contract reservations every week, so get yours in as soon as possible to guarantee your spot! Returning spots have first priority and any new requests are prioritized according to first received.

Invitational Doubles
The premiere program at the Club is our Saturday Invitational Doubles Ladder. It is the most competitive program we have and includes all levels of ability. The program starts in November and runs for 13 weeks, skipping UT football (home games) and holidays. Be looking for more details about theleague next month!

We Need Your Contact Information!
In order for us to communicate effectively with you, our members, we need to have your most current e-mail address. Please stop by bookkeeping and give them your info.

NON-MEMBER USTA POLICY
Cedar Bluff Racquet Club is happy to continue to offer a policy that helps USTA captains who are Cedar Bluff members.  Cedar Bluff understands that although the majority of teams are made up of Cedar Bluff Racquet Club members, in order to round out a team many teams will also include non-members.

These non-members may also attend practices or team clinics with CBRC pros with teams that are made up of Cedar Bluff Racquet Club members.  The non-members will pay $5.00 extra per clinic.  Also, the non-members must commit and pay the clinic amount in advance.  Please contact Rusty Morris by E-mail or phone at 690-5700 to arrange a team clinic for your USTA team, mixed or combo.
